Csele Chili Con Carne
You will need:
- 1 1/2 lbs. Ground beef, browned
- 4 green or red peppers, cut into smart pieces (1/2″ by 1/2″)
- 1 package of Chili Mix
- 1 Tbsp. Chili Powder
- 2 litres stewed tomatoes
- 1/4 litre water
- 4 large onions, chopped into small pieces
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 or 2 cans (19 oz) Chick Peas
- 1 can (19 oz) Red Kidney Beans
Mix everything together in a large pot, simmer all afternoon (at least two hours).
To thicken, use potato flakes (so it does not get watery when frozen and thawed).
