Csele Chili Con Carne

You will need:

  • Csele Chili Con Carne1 1/2 lbs. Ground beef, browned
  • 4 green or red peppers, cut into smart pieces (1/2″ by 1/2″)
  • 1 package of Chili Mix
  • 1 Tbsp. Chili Powder
  • 2 litres stewed tomatoes
  • 1/4 litre water
  • 4 large onions, chopped into small pieces
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed 
  • 1 or 2 cans (19 oz) Chick Peas
  • 1 can (19 oz) Red Kidney Beans

Mix everything together in a large pot, simmer all afternoon (at least two hours).

To thicken, use potato flakes (so it does not get watery when frozen and thawed).
